OTTAWA – December 10, 2002 – The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2002 National SAM Awards, presented by American Standard.
The National SAM Awards celebrate excellence in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, outstanding presentation, marketing and sales activities across Canada.
Twenty-one National SAM Awards will be presented at the CHBA’s National Conference on February 24, 2003 in London, Ontario. CHBA President Greg Christenson said that winning a National SAM is a real honour and distinction.
“To be named a SAM finalist and to receive recognition from your colleagues is a tremendous achievement, and it is something to be extremely proud of. The caliber of entries received from across Canada was exceedingly high this year,” said Mr. Christenson.
National SAM Awards are offered in the following categories (number of awards in category): New Home Awards (8), Home Renovation Awards (4), Marketing Awards (6), Home Parade Award (1), the Grand SAM Award (1) and the American Standard Award of Sales Excellence. The Grand SAM is presented to the CHBA builder member whose single project combines the best aspects of professional marketing, advertising, promotion, site-merchandising and sales presentation.
